Marketing Account Director, B2B Tech
Method Communications is an award-winning technology marketing and public relations agency seeking a Marketing Account Director. This critical role involves leading client relations, managing integrated marketing campaigns, and ensuring effective communication between clients and internal teams to achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain client relationships building trust and helping clients have confidence in the agency team and our collective ability to achieve their goals
Direct all projects and initiatives, while allowing team members to own and execute projects
Maintain strong client communication through email, Slack, weekly team meetings, and one-to-ones with client(s). This includes establishing weekly agendas, sharing work back schedules, meeting notes and managing action items, all designed to provide concierge service through clear communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
Positive attitude, critical thinker and problem solver
Work with executive leads to develop realistic goals for internal team members and for clients
Encompass a strong executive presence when providing ideas, counsel and feedback to clients and internal teams
Work in partnership with account project managers to ensure content is delivered on time supporting workstreams to delivery top-quality deliverables
Assigns and delegates roles and responsibilities across internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
Write well researched project briefs to steer strategic thinking on new deliverables
Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
Retain clients and build strong trusting relationships
Provide superior customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Act as a strategist and advisor to your clients, advising them on what tactics, messages and priorities they should prioritize based on their business goals
Act as a mentor to junior staff
Evangelize marketing within the agency
Deliver constructive feedback to ensure level requirements are met and the correct action is taken, where necessary
Participate in office activities (virtual and/or in-person dependent on location)
Have a strong, positive presence within the agency
Qualification
Required
8+ years Account Management experience with a minimum of 4 years in an agency environment
Demonstrated experience building, conceptualizing and executing integrated communications programs that align with client/company business goals
Exemplary editing and writing capabilities
Collaborative, team-oriented individual with a big-picture mindset
Commitment to developing skills and helping team members do the same
