Responsibilities

Creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with governmental and corporate requirements which demonstrate the necessary cost and schedule integration
Detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance. The weekly and monthly business rhythms will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management
Assist in planning and cost estimating tasks, perform analyses, and prepare reports to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments. This includes internal weekly and monthly program schedule review packages and compliant external Contractual Data Requirements List submittals
Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis and other forms of in-depth and actionable schedule related analysis
Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic contract schedule baselines

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience; preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance after start
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Minimum 4 years of scheduling experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace)
Minimum 4 years of professional experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules. (MS Project or similar scheduling software)
Minimum 8 years of personal or professional experience using MS Office suite products
Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment

Preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
Intimately familiar with applicable Government regulations, especially pertaining to program planning and Earned Value compliance
Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
Experience in the area of analyzing and querying schedule data (including Schedule Metrics)
Experience using numerous ancillary scheduling products such as Full Monte, FastTrak and PertChart Expert
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimation
Ability to decompose statements of work into their basic elements and transform them into a workable program plan
Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
