Responsibilities
Be a part of the Integrated Product Team, working with Systems Engineers, Testers, and customers defining and supporting the next generation of Space Communications Systems
Lead and support working groups, JIRA teams, and interface with both customers and other contractors for technical discussions, risk reduction/mitigation steps, briefings, and resolution of action items
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience
Secret or higher active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
5-10 years of software development, including architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing
Strong experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
Hands-on experience developing web applications with microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
Experience with Docker, AWS and / or Azure, and Kubernetes for containerization, cloud services, and orchestration
Proficient in using GitLab or other Tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
MILSATCOM: 5 years (Required)
Preferred
10+ years of software development, including architecture, object-oriented design, coding, and testing
Experience working with Javascript frameworks such as Angular
Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
Experience in implementing Agile Software Development methodologies for efficient and iterative project management
Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and Tactical SATCOM or COMSATCOM
Experience with space and ground systems, such as satellite communication, ground terminals and DoD networks
