Authority Brands is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Senior Business Analyst to join the Finance team. This role involves supporting data analysis, reporting, and analytics across procurement, payments, and consumer financing ecosystems, providing exposure to various teams and leaders.

Responsibilities

Data management and financial analysis

Ingest, transform, and standardize data from vendors and lenders across multiple sources and formats, ensuring accuracy and consistency for financial and operational reporting

Build and maintain models to support rolling forecasts and key reconciliations, including timely estimates for monthly accounting and planning purposes

Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and model key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision making

Partner with the Senior Director to develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the procurement, payments, and consumer financing business units

Proactively identify opportunities for data automation, process efficiency, and new insights to enhance decision-making capabilities across the organization

Partner with business intelligence team to transform data digitally into dashboards

Continuously improve data models and reporting mechanisms to meet evolving business needs and support scalable growth

Build, maintain and manage strong relationships both internally and externally with cross-functional business leaders and third-party vendors

Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support for business leaders, including assistance with contract negotiations and strategic initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or related field

1–3 years of experience in data analytics, strategy, financial reporting, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., PowerBI, NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar) from multiple sources, or willingness to learn

Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn in a multi-brand environment with shifting priorities
