Responsibilities

Collaborate with nursing faculty to identify and intervene for academically at-risk students
Connect students to support services
Promote an educational environment that recognizes and values diversity, equity, and inclusion as integral components of academic success
Assist in open lab creating meaningful learning activities for students to bridge the gap from theory to clinical
Serve as the remediation instructor for student who require assistance with application of concepts from theory to clinical and hold tutoring sessions with one or a group of students

Qualification

Bachelors Degree in NursingActive IL RN LicenseCPR BLS CertificationTechnology skillsCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsPresentation skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelors Degree with a major in Nursing
CPR BLS Certification
Active IL RN License
Possess the ability and strong commitment to support student learning by the use of technology and innovation in the delivery of instruction
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a team member
Strong technology skills

Preferred

Experience orienting/mentoring new nurses in a healthcare setting
