10+ years expRed Ventures is seeking a Senior Director of Business Intelligence to build and own Bankrate’s enterprise BI platform, transforming fragmented data into a trusted analytics ecosystem. Responsibilities
Build and own Bankrate's enterprise BI platform as the company's single source of truth
Integrate and model data across CRM, billing, ad platforms, partners and product systems
Own BI tooling strategy, vendors, and long-term platform decisions
Define and govern company-wide metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards
Eliminate conflicting metrics and enable trusted, executive-ready reporting
Balance scalable self-service analytics with strong governance
Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability through testing, monitoring, and SLAs
Embed security, access control, and compliance into all BI workflows
Deliver intuitive dashboards and self-service analytics for executives and operators
Ensure insights are actionable, consistent, and easy to use across the organization
Build and lead a high-performing BI team
Partner closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and executive leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering
Proven success building and scaling enterprise-grade BI platforms and operating models
Deep expertise in data modeling, metrics, and analytics architecture
Strong command of data quality, testing, observability, and governance practices
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams
Experience partnering closely with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Engineering leaders
Preferred
Background in fintech, financial services, marketplaces, or performance-driven businesses
Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, experimentation, or advanced decisioning platforms
Experience operating in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
Hands-on familiarity with modern BI, data warehousing, and analytics tool ecosystems
