Workday HCM Lead

They are seeking a Workday HCM Lead who will serve as the primary functional expert for their global HCM system, responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining core HR processes while ensuring compliance and driving system enhancements.

Responsibilities
Lead the configuration of Workday Core HCM modules to meet evolving business needs, including position management and organizational changes
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Payroll and other stakeholders to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new features
Conduct rigorous testing of system changes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Moog audit standards. Maintain detailed documentation and perform regular compliance reviews
Evaluate Workday release updates, communicate enhancements and bug fixes to CoEs, and develop deployment plans
Deliver training sessions for managers and employees, create job aids, and provide ongoing support for Workday functionality and best practices
Collaborate with reporting teams to build and analyze Workday reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of functional data and actionable insights
Assist in managing the Workday Help queue, ensuring tickets are prioritized and resolved promptly
Uphold confidentiality and data security standards for all HR-related information
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Advanced proficiency in Workday HCM configuration; at least five (5) years' experience Workday HCM configuration
Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and employee support best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet critical HR deadlines
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Preferred
Workday HCM Certification
Proven experience supporting HR operations in a global organization
Skills in developing job aids and contributing to change management initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making
A background in HR Shared Services or experience with tiered support models (Tier 1 and Tier 2)
Familiarity with case management platforms such as Workday Help, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools
An understanding of global HR processes and compliance requirements
