Sr. Sales Operations Analyst – Strategic Growth Channels

The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will support the Customer Sales and Commercialization teams by providing key sales information and insights, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, and managing various sales-related projects.

Responsibilities

Assist customer team with information requests, key insights, recommendations and processes (support external processes/lead and support internal processes)
Develop a deep understanding of the team’s retail channels to provide value-added services to the customer team and customer(s)
Create customer presentations & communications (i.e. product launches, customer business plan/reviews, promotions, merchandising, pricing, etc.)
Provide high level summaries and targeted selling materials that synthesize multiple sources of data
Assist with broker communications and business tracking; identify growth opportunities, track distribution voids, and manage direction shared with field sales support
Work in conjunction with Sales Excellence team on key deliverables including trade show planning/management, sales samples, Sharepoint management, and sales reference documents
Support the commercialization of innovation offerings by liaising with internal and external partners, ensuring customers’ objectives are appropriately represented and executed upon
Provide support on all elements of customer management and data organization including new customer set-up, customer changes, item submissions
Ensure flawless execution of forecasting and inventory management – act as liaison across functions to support seasonality and promotional planning
Bring a culinary forward lens – leverage insights and customer priorities in work with internal culinary team; support product cuttings and ideation sessions
Complete analysis, gain key insights and make recommendations on key performance indicators/trends and future opportunities such as sales volume, trade spending, field sales communications, shopper marketing programs, new product launches, pricing, and more
Effectively communicate customer requirements across all internal functions
Ensure systems / processes are effectively managed and improved
Support internal business functions with information and insights
Improve internal process to support effectiveness, efficiency and external focus

Required

Post-secondary education required
3-5 years' work experience in a sales or marketing function
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gain and communicate key insights
Strong interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, demanding work environment
Highly organized, fact-based and detail oriented
Able to anticipate internal/external customers' needs and proactively seek to satisfy those needs

Preferred

Previous experience working with distributors an asset
