Flexible Plan Investments is an innovative investment management firm seeking an experienced External Wholesaler to grow and retain assets under management across a West Coast territory. The role focuses on building and deepening relationships with financial advisers while identifying new sales opportunities through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers to promote Flexible Plan’s investment management solutions
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory to meet asset and revenue goals
Raise and retain assets through proactive outreach, including phone calls, in-person meetings, virtual appointments, group presentations, and office drop-ins
Deliver compelling, compliant presentations highlighting Flexible Plan’s investment strategies, philosophy, and competitive advantages
Provide timely product information, sales ideas, and ongoing support to advisers
Gather market and adviser feedback to inform sales and marketing efforts
Develop and execute a territory business plan and sales strategy aligned with firm objectives
Manage time, travel, and territory budget effectively while operating with a high degree of autonomy
Participate in paid training programs to deepen product, market, and industry knowledge
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and scheduling teams to maximize coverage and impact

Qualification

Required

Must reside in AZ, CO, or UT
Active Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 licenses required
3–5+ years of experience wholesaling or supporting mutual funds and/or separately managed accounts
In-depth knowledge of mutual funds and SMAs
Established relationships within IBD and RIA channels
Proven ability to deliver effective, dynamic sales presentations
Strong relationship management skills and ability to work within a team-based sales structure
Self-driven with strong organizational, analytical, and technology skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
