Responsibilities
Play a leading role in the design, development, and refinement of medical devices utilizing additive manufacturing technology
Creation of product specifications (both software and device)
CAD design and 3D modeling
Planning and execution of product verification and validation
Documentation of product design (Design History)
Manage project schedules, resources, and budget as needed
Identify and appropriately address project/product risks
Coordination of project tasks
Regular communication of project status to key stakeholders
Interface with local and international team members to ensure smooth release of products to market
Stay current with technical advances through education, training, and technical research
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering (ME, BME, MSE)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development
Experience with 3D printing / additive manufacturing
Excellent communication and reporting skills – written and verbal
Experienced in Product Verification and Validation
Excels at both independent and collaborative work
Preferred
Project Management experience
Process Validation (including production software)
Experience in Medical Device industry
