Sr. Compensation Analyst
AMSURG is an independent leader in ambulatory surgery center services, operating a network of over 250 surgery centers. The Sr. Compensation Analyst will analyze and administer employer compensation programs, evaluate jobs, and ensure compliance with compensation policies while conducting market analysis and maintaining competitive pay structures.

Responsibilities
Administers the compensation programs for the Company including the development of base salary ranges for the Company’s various business lines/market segments. Maintains competitive structures and conducts on-going analysis to ensure overall competitiveness and consistent approach to pay decisions for all levels across the organization
Participates in a number of annual compensation surveys and industry associations to stay abreast of market trends and ensure compliance with regulations
Conducts proactive competitive analysis and recommends program updates as necessary in line with market trends and findings
Works in partnership with managers to ensure a complete inventory of job descriptions and position profiles and makes updates as necessary
Conducts job evaluations and participates in FLSA job evaluation reviews to determine exemption status and recommends grade assignments
Provides day-to-day administrative support related to equity programs. Independently prepares and conducts uploads stock plan administration system, supports participant communications, and equity analysis, if applicable
Responsible for system set up and administration of the performance management system (Ultipro). Including manager support
Responsible for system set up and administration of the compensation planning tool
Responsible for the Company’s compensation review processes (annual and mid-year compensation cycles)
Provides administrative support on total compensation and rewards communications, including annual updates for all programs. Prepares calendar and arranges all employee meetings and roll-out process
Responsible for incentive plan support by tracking participants, terms and conditions and administering plan documents
Prepares analysis related to salary/bonus budgets, pay equity, etc
Performs ad hoc benchmarking requests, analyses and best practices research for both corporate and centers
Regular and reliable attendance is required

Qualification
Required
Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors
Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables
HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations
Business Acumen: Ability to understand business goals and strategies
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders
Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing HR metrics and trends to make data-driven decisions

Change Management: Experience in managing organizational change and driving transformation initiatives

Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and best practices in HR
BA/BS in business, HR or related discipline is required
5-8+ years of progressive Compensation experience, preferably as a Senior Compensation Analyst
Experience with salary surveys and pricing of jobs. Preference is with CompTool, or similar software
Experience with job architecture build, development, administration and maintenance
Experience with calculation and administration of annual and off-cycle pay changes as well as annual cycles (merit, STI, LTIP, etc.)
Proven ability to leverage innovation in a growing organization
Demonstrated strong knowledge in HR practices and policies

Strongly preferred experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare/ambulatory surgery centers (ASC)
