Competitive Intelligence Specialist - Commercial Rotational Program

This hybrid role involves participating in a rotational program that includes responsibilities such as competitive information development and analysis to support the APM competitive intelligence strategy.

Responsibilities

Support the Business Development Program Leader with strategy development and assessment to drive a robust, dynamic and evergreen competitive intelligence (CI) managing process as critical input into business strategy
Participate in CIBM Step 1 – Product Meetings for evergreen (CI) input to product line strategy execution
Collaborate with Product Specialists and market facing teams to enable market and competitive intelligence for product lines utilizing import/export data, product quality heat maps, and market research tools
Lead competitive data and information acceleration process to expand scope, frequency, and efficiency of real time gathering of internal and external sources of market intelligence across all Product Lines
Support ongoing competitive analysis including Global Market Supply Demand Analysis, Competitor COM Models, Environmental Permits, and Import/Export data, bringing forward insights/ recommendations
Support development and publishing of standardized CI communications including, but not limited to, Competitor Profiles, Bi-Weekly Newsletters, and Competitive Landscape Reports

Required

Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline
2+ years Chemical Industry experience in any function (technical, production, business, etc)
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and process mapping tools
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Interest in future commercial role
High motivation and self-awareness
Results-driven with strong communication skills
Experience with SFDC
Ability to travel on occasion (up to 25%)
