Required

Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field plus one (1) year of news reporting and/or experience in digital news production
Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis
Experience originating, developing, writing, and producing programs for local/regional/national audiences essential
Digital editing, news reporting, copywriting and editing skills; knowledge of current events, and computer literacy
Strong interpersonal and researching skills necessary

Preferred

Three (3) years' experience news reporting and experience in digital news production; equivalency considered
On-air reporting experience, production experience and/or knowledge in news production preferred
On-air broadcast presentation skills, ability to conduct background and broadcast interviews, producing, and investigative reporting skills
Familiarity with podcasting helpful
Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
