Senior IV&V Technical Analyst

Responsibilities
Provide senior-level technical review and independent assessment of federal IT systems and modernization efforts
Evaluate system architecture, design artifacts, and technical documentation for quality, risk, and compliance
Identify technical risks related to system integration, performance, scalability, security, and operations
Review and assess system changes, enhancements, and modernization initiatives; provide written recommendations
Support technical risk management activities, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and reporting
Advise program leadership on emerging technologies, technical best practices, and modernization strategies
Participate in technical review meetings, briefings, and change control discussions as needed
Review IV&V reports and findings to ensure technical accuracy and clarity prior to delivery
Support transition activities and knowledge transfer when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems in technical leadership, architecture, or oversight role
Experience performing or supporting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), technical assessments, or system reviews
Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and hybrid environments
Experience identifying and assessing technical risk in complex systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and provide objective, well-documented recommendations
Preferred
Experience supporting federal government IT systems, particularly in civilian agencies
Familiarity with federal IT governance, compliance, or oversight processes
Experience reviewing system documentation, test results, and operational metrics
