Responsibilities
Manage patient billing, payments, and account balances
Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile daily deposits
Submit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claims
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
Explain treatment costs, insurance coverage, and payment options to families
Respond to patient financial questions in person, by phone, and electronically
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, or financial coordination (dental/medical office experience a strong plus)
Proficiency with practice management or dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, EagleSoft, or similar)
Strong understanding of insurance billing and claims processing
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Associate's degree in accounting, business, or related field
