Responsibilities

Act as a technical consultant to customers and HERE Account Executives during presales activities, leading technical discovery by identifying and documenting customer requirements and objectives
Demonstrate HERE technologies through demos, proofs of concept, and implementation support
Design and present solution architectures using HERE’s platform, APIs, and partner offerings
Develop proof-of-concept solutions and support customers in evaluating datasets and validating use cases
Collaborate with internal teams to represent customer needs and inform product development
Stay current with technology trends and contribute to solution briefs for go-to-market efforts

Qualification

Sales engineeringJavaScriptRESTful APIsGIS technologiesCloud servicesDatabase technologiesGeospatial information systemsMobile developmentCommunication skills

Required

2–3 years' experience in sales engineering or a customer-facing technical role (pre- or post-sales)
BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or GIS
Familiarity with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (RDBMS or NoSQL)
Experience with Desktop and web based GIS IE ArcGIS, QGIS, etc
Understanding of data architectures and cloud services
Excellent communication skills, from technical whiteboarding to executive presentations

Preferred

Experience with geospatial information systems (GIS) and location services
Experience implementing location services into enterprise applications
Experience with Public Sector and/or Fleet Logistics sales
Mobile development experience (Android/iOS)
