Natural Gas Engineer
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Natural Gas team in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The role involves working on various natural gas projects, including design and permitting, while collaborating with a team of engineers and industry professionals.

Responsibilities
Our Natural Gas team works on projects including:
Horizontal Directional Drill design, Distribution & Transmission pipeline design, Metering and Regulation Stations design, Natural Gas Generation & power plant design, Process Control Design and Integration, Compressor Stations, Pig Launcher/Receiver stations, DOT relocation and coordination, and more!
Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints
Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination
Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
Qualification
Required
4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Candidates should have experience within the Energy discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applications
Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks
Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or CADWorx
Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, Environmental Engineering
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including eCFR 49 Part 192 and ASME B31.8
Candidates should have experience within the Oil and Gas discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applications
