They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC and mechanical/process piping to lead design projects and mentor junior engineers in their Life Science & Industrial team.

Responsibilities
Take a leadership position in the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and process piping
Mentor junior and mid-level engineering professionals
Contribute to proposal efforts
Move quickly and efficiently through various design stages, from concept planning to construction documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
10+ years of related MEP experience, with demonstrated senior-level responsibility
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical/process piping design
Strong understanding of HVAC system design and process piping
Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM
Experience mentoring and training employees
Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Ability to travel 25% - While most travel would be domestic, this position could have the opportunity for international travel in which case a valid passport would be necessary
Preferred
PE license or EIT Certification with formal plans to obtain PE license in near future
Industry experience in cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or sterilization facilities
Experience with ASHRAE Laboratory Design and relevant codes and standards
Experience with BSSL2, BSL3, BSL3-Ag, BSL4, or ABSL
Experience with Clean Room design
