Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. In this role, you will partner with AI, simulation, and mission assurance teams to drive improvements and identify high-impact opportunities toward autonomy by leveraging geospatial data and metrics.

Responsibilities

Build data pipelines of geospatial features

Integrate internal and external geospatial data to enhance our datasets

Collaborate with multiple teams to prioritize roadmap on map features

Identify key areas of investments for our geospatial datasets and features

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in CS, statistics, mathematics or relevant fields

Experience with map data and geospatial data analysis

Fluency in Python or Scala

Familiarity with SQL

Experience with Spark or large-scale data analysis

Experience designing metrics, building mechanisms to fuel business insights, and driving decision-making at various levels in an organization

Preferred

Experience with Geospatial Information System (GIS), knowledge of earth systems and geospatial sciences

Basic fluency in C++
