Scotsman Ice Systems is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with various financial responsibilities. The role includes managing inventory transactions, ensuring financial reporting accuracy, and assisting with journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Assist with financial responsibilities to include monthly close process, cycle count process, and raw materials inventory process

Manage inventory transactions and investigate any discrepancies

Work with the Plant Assistant Controller and Plant staff to ensure financial reporting accuracy

Review variances with managers to determine corrective action

Assist with annual physical inventory process and control

Assist the Plant Assistant Controller and Plant staff to meet reporting timetable

Assist with preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial reporting

Manage payables and perform all payables functions

Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position

Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times

Perform other duties as assigned
