Responsibilities
Perform two scheduled evening runs:
First Run: ~20 stops in Eastside and Newburgh area
Second Run: ~20 stops in Henderson, Owensboro, Reo, and Gateway Campus
Collect routine and STAT specimens from nursing homes, clinics, and other healthcare facilities
Ensure specimens are properly packaged, labeled, and stored during transport
Transport all collected specimens to Midtown Lab within designated timeframes to support overnight processing
Serve as a professional and courteous point of contact for client facilities
Communicate any delays, issues, or special instructions to Outreach Lab Team Leads
Accurately log pickups, deliveries, and any exceptions using provided tools or systems
Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety protocols for handling biological specimens
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned courier vehicle
Ensure transport containers and supplies are stocked and functioning properly
Respond to last-minute pickup requests or route changes with flexibility
Troubleshoot minor issues independently and escalate when necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid driving license
