Mid LevelHTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python and SQL expertise to support the migration and expansion of an existing, production-grade data platform. This role focuses on enabling reliable data movement, system integrations, and backend data workflows while ensuring continuity and performance during migration efforts.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Python-based services and data workflows that support platform migration efforts
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries supporting data ingestion, transformation, and validation
Support data movement and synchronization between existing systems and newly onboarded environments
Build and maintain integrations across internal platforms, databases, and APIs
Contribute to platform modernization initiatives with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Partner with technical leads to identify migration risks, data gaps, and performance bottlenecks
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established development and data quality standards
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Python in a data engineering or backend-focused role
Advanced SQL skills with experience working in relational database environments
Background supporting data pipelines, backend services, or system integrations
Experience participating in platform migrations, system expansions, or modernization initiatives
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern development workflows
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, data, and platform teams
