They are seeking a Payroll Processor to manage payroll processing, ensure compliance with regulations, and support employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities
Collect, verify, and enter employee time and attendance data
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., taxes, benefits)
Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls, depending on company schedules
Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages through direct deposit or checks
Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, including tax withholdings and reporting requirements
Prepare and file payroll-related tax documents (e.g., W-2s, 1099s)
Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
Maintain accurate payroll records
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues
Educate employees on payroll processes and policies when necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field
Familiarity with payroll software and systems(e.g., ADP WFN, Paychex)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus
