Responsibilities

Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain detailed AP tracking schedules and ensure payments are processed accurately without duplication

Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way matching)

Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors as needed

Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires)

Maintain accurate vendor records and update payment information

Reconcile vendor statements and AP aging reports

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards

Respond to internal and external AP-related inquiries

Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as required
