Responsibilities

Manage complex strategic sourcing activities in procurement consisting of soliciting bids, analyzing supplier responses, and making recommendations on supplier awards

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate analytical efforts and to define business requirements for procurement projects

Assist our Internal Sourcing teams with adopting our E-sourcing tool

Assist Sourcing leads with large and complex Request for Proposals in the Contract labor category

Research and develop adequate sources of supply

Maintain master supplier data

Lead supplier negotiations using competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis

Evaluate the financial stability of potential suppliers

Perform required business analysis including total cost of ownership

Provide fact-based recommendations based on competitive benchmarking and comparative analysis

Continuously seek out cost savings opportunities and lead efforts to realize those savings

Manage supplier base and relationships, from onboarding and maintenance to evaluations and recommendations

Maintain accurate procurement data; create dashboards; report savings, cycle times and adherence to policies

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years of procurement experience

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Demonstrated and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Superior presentation/communication and influencing skills

Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment to effectively meet deadlines and projects by using appropriate methodology and tools

Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines with uncompromising ethics

Strong data analysis, modeling and decision support; comfortable with large datasets and dashboards. Intermediate to Advanced excel skills. Must be able to do vlookups and provide output using Pivot tables

Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to independently assess situations and respond accordingly

Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity

Demonstrated project management skills and process mindset

Superior knowledge and understanding of procurement or supply chain

Superior knowledge on contract terms and conditions

Preferred

Experience using E-Sourcing tools; SAP Ariba Sourcing

Proven experience working with Contract Labor/Professional Service contracts, rate cards, RFP's

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
