Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of remote Cloud Solutions Architects, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship
Drive team performance to achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategies for Google Cloud solutions
Work closely with Google Cloud's Sales and CSA leadership to align strategies and initiatives
Ensure the team effectively qualifies customer opportunities and designs tailored solutions
Oversee the delivery of compelling presentations and proofs-of-concept to showcase our solutions
Facilitate seamless handovers of new customer wins to Professional Services and Customer Success teams
Monitor and maintain accurate customer opportunity status in Salesforce
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team
Participate in strategic planning and provide input on product direction and market trends

Required

Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, preferably in a pre-sales or solutions architecture capacity
Strong technical foundation in Cloud concepts and technologies, with a deep focus on Google Cloud
Excellent understanding of the sales process and ability to drive sales success
Experience working with customers in the as-a-Service space
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire a remote team
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
Knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and its application in cloud environments (a plus)
Familiarity with container orchestration runtime concepts and solutions, preferably Kubernetes (a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
10+ years of experience; 3 in leadership
