The Fleet Risk Lead Engineer supports the development and execution of the Fleet Risk Management Program, applying engineering principles to assess and mitigate risks across multiple projects and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities
Lead structured assessments of fleet risks through cross-functional committees. Translate technical risks into commercial impacts and support business case development
Lead project management of risk mitigation development and implementation plans in with engineering and outage teams. Track mitigation application status and performance of mitigations on a fleet and fleet leader basis
Develop and maintain systems and processes for tracking fleet risk applicability. Ensure integration with enterprise platforms and support data integrity and traceability
Perform data analysis (e.g., FMEA, degradation trends, mean time to failure) to quantify risk severity and likelihood. Model business impact scenarios including and track actuals vs. forecast to monitor accuracy
Support engineering teams in root cause investigations and implementation planning. Apply knowledge of combined cycle power plants and major components (GT, ST, generators, auxiliaries)
Author and maintain risk management process and supporting work procedures for risk management steps. Support report creation, cleanup, and publishing to Product Data Management Systems
Assist in developing and delivering training on fleet risk processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Line, Project Operations, Legal, and Planning teams
Present risk insights to leadership. Support planning and design teams with product application decisions. Participate in proactive efforts to achieve departmental goals
Perform such other duties as may be required from time to time by the company
Qualification
Required
B.S. Mechanical, Aerospace, Construction, Industrial or, Computer Science Engineering program at an accredited University
10+ years of experience in reliability engineering, fleet engineering, asset performance, or risk management in the energy sector
Strong understanding of combined cycle power plants and major components is required
Preferred
Preferred experience includes construction and commissioning of power plants
