Responsibilities

Conduct turf maintenance, including mowing, backpack blowing, weed-eating, edging, and preparing lawns for initial seeding

Fertilize and overseed lawns

Provide irrigation installation and maintenance

Conduct chemical application when needed

Properly prune trees and shrubs

Remove snow and ice from streets, sidewalks, and parking lots

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Associate's degree in Horticulture preferred

Requires a minimum of four years landscaping experience without degree, Minimum two years' experience with a degree

Valid driver's license is required

Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications

Ability to operate all hand tools, small power mowers, edger, weed-eaters, and chain saws

Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Basic computer skills
