Account Executive
SALT is a financial technology company that powers the legal cannabis industry with innovative payment solutions. They are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to generate and manage a pipeline of merchant opportunities, conduct sales prospecting, and lead full-cycle sales processes in a rapidly evolving sector.

Responsibilities
Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities
Conduct outbound sales prospecting, networking, and relationship development with dispensaries, franchise groups, and industry partners
Lead full-cycle sales processes, including discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and close
Partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding transition and merchant activation
Maintain CRM discipline including notes, forecasting, follow-up cadence, and pipeline accuracy
Represent SALT at key cannabis trade shows, conferences, and activation events as needed
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as an Account Executive within cannabis or merchant services
A hunter who thrives on outbound strategy and relationship-building
Comfortable selling in a rapidly changing, regulated industry
A strong communicator who can simplify complex financial solutions
Resourceful, proactive, and motivated by results
Able to move quickly, adapt, and iterate as the business scales
Preferred
Experience in FinTech, merchant services, payment processing, or cannabis
