Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair all plant instrumentation

Troubleshoot and repair Control and Electrical systems. (PLCs, transmitters, control wiring, MCCs, Soft Starters, VFD’s etc..)

Troubleshoot and repair control/communication networks within plant (Ethernet I/P, Network Switches, Fiber Optics, Ethernet and Serial Radio networks)

Work Safely around instrumentation and electrical systems

Required

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Understanding of basic plant operations

Journeyman Electrician certification required

Must have a valid drivers license

Solid understanding of low and medium voltage electrical equipment such as switch gears, Variable Frequency Drives, lighting contractors, and 24 volt DCE control circuits

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel

Willing to work overtime when necessary (not guaranteed)

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
