Video Production Specialist

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Video Production Specialist responsible for operating an EVS replay system during national sports productions and Technical Directing multi-camera productions. The role includes operating visual mixers, shooting single camera productions, and editing, while also managing on-air graphics for live programming.

Required

Associate's degree in broadcasting or related field and one (1) year experience in media production or equivalent
Additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
A working knowledge of a cross-section of production tools including television cameras, replay servers, editing systems, lighting and audio equipment
Knowledge of multiple video formats and range of production techniques from very simple to moderately complex
Must be familiar with the various graphics systems in the remote truck, studio, and off-line work stations
Basic computer and editing skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in broadcasting or related field
Experience in multicamera studio, remote, and/or single camera EFP shooting and basic editing or equivalent
Ability to operate EVS replay server for national sports productions
Demonstrated ability to direct various productions
A basic knowledge of non-linear editing
Knowledge of VizRt Trio
