Responsibilities
Recruit, manage, and develop marketing and placement teams, including overseeing workloads, providing training, coaching, and performance management
Monitor team performance against service standards using KPIs, strategic initiatives, and automation tools (such as U Place and U Market)
Partner with regional and national stakeholders to advance regional strategies, including working with cornerstone and regional carriers, wholesale, specialty programs, and other market initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives as the primary regional contact
Provide guidance and engage national resources for challenging large accounts
Assist with carrier escalations across all client segments when necessary
Collaborate with sales leaders and producers to support client insurance needs, and participate in local huddles and sales strategy meetings focused on renewals and new business
Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, pricing strategies, and underwriting policies
Lead the adoption and rollout of technology and workflow placement tools
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts
At least 5 years of experience in marketing or placement roles
Bachelor's degree required
P&C insurance license required; industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU are a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables
Exceptional time management, prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
