Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day operations and performance of the packaging department
Maintains inventory levels and production standards
Oversee production lines, ensuring staff have what they need to complete projects on time
Data input – Complete documentation of daily production logs on various software platforms
Recognizes areas of opportunity that improve Safety, Product Quality, Food Safety, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Moral
Responsible for managing employee records (write ups, time off requests)
Creation of compliance labels from Metrc
Maintains fast pace and high attention to detail in all areas of the team
Collaboration with quality teams to ensure labels are going on correctly and packaging remains compliant with regulations for the industry
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of production/manufacturing processes
Ability to provide clear direction, to manage and track progress and communicate outcomes
Willing and able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
