Project Engineer

They are seeking a Project Engineer to join their Joplin, MO team, where the role involves creating and maintaining project scope, collaborating with teams to ensure project completion, and managing budgets and risks effectively.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Play an active role in the process of creating and maintaining project scope, design schedules, design budget, and design contracts
Collaborate with the team to complete assigned projects on time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs
Proactively ensure corporate/division standards and processes are being met to provide consistent quality control and adherence to company guidelines
Conduct cost analysis, estimate expected costs, and prepare and implement project budgets
Perform risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
Compare actual project costs to estimates and adjust plans accordingly
Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders
Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
Proactively manage project changes and adjust plans if problems arise
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
7+ years of experience in land development engineering and design
Active PE license
Experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or related field
Experience in management, leading multidisciplinary design teams
Experience with managing municipal, commercial, and subdivision projects
Proven success in leading teams and managing projects
