Responsibilities

Conduct detailed financial analysis of the company's financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making

Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts

Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide explanations and recommendations for corrective actions

Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various scenarios, such as mergers and acquisitions, investment decisions, or cost-saving initiatives

Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess potential risks and opportunities

Prepare and present financial reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders

Create visually appealing dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making

Analyze cost structures and cost drivers to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements

Assist in developing cost reduction strategies and monitoring their implementation

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors

Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Several years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or similar role

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)

Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning software)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact effectively with various departments

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting principles

Preferred

Master's degree or CFA/CPA certification is a plus
