Responsibilities

Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee outsourced billing operations (coding, A/R, payment posting, collections, compliance). Communicate with patients regarding bills and financial assistance. Implement strategies to reduce denials and optimize revenue. Maintain strong relationships with payers, providers, and internal teams. Approve/deny financial assistance and refund requests

Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports and KPIs (A/R aging, denial rates, clean claim rates, etc.). Identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Maintain cash flow forecasting models and provide real-time cash position reports

Compliance & Training: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, AMA standards, No Surprise Act). Monitor RCM compliance issues. Conduct audits and educate staff, providers, and patients on revenue cycle policies

Required

Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance preferred, or a related field, or in lieu of education requirement, 4 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle management

Previous experience in the healthcare or hospital setting is required

4+ years of progressively responsible experience and training

Experience managing outsourced RCM vendors

Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), or similar backgrounds
