District Sales Manager (Refrigeration) - 3483855
Raymond Search Group is a top-tier global manufacturer in the HVAC and refrigeration industry, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions. They are seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to drive growth within the Midwest territory by developing strategic business plans and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage assigned territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve division growth objectives
Call on refrigeration wholesale customers, OEMs, contractors, specifying engineers, and prospective clients to drive business through wholesale channels
Partner with Sales, Business Development, National Account Managers, and Customer Service to deliver consistent account management and customer support
Communicate company strategies regarding pricing, products, and channel alignment
Serve as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, resolving disputes and supporting positive customer relations
Track competitor activities, including pricing and tactics, and communicate findings internally
Meet with customers to evaluate buying intentions and create accurate sales forecasts
Develop and maintain strong consultative selling relationships, focusing on long-term customer retention
Collaborate with customers to execute promotional, advertising, and merchandising plans
Develop annual territory sales plans, budgets, and account maintenance strategies
Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to assigned sales agents
Take ownership of personal training, development, and performance goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of customer-facing sales experience in commercial refrigeration
Strong knowledge of refrigeration equipment and ability to create demand within wholesale markets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
Self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proven ability to manage budgets and meet predefined sales objectives
Ability to travel extensively (50%)
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory
Preferred
Master's degree
