Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of NHS Grampian’s strategic vision and transformation plans for the next 10-20 years
Deliver complex, organisation-wide change programmes in partnership with Acute Services, Health and Social Care Partnerships, Local Authorities, the third sector, and Scottish Government
Oversee major capital projects and digital/eHealth initiatives, ensuring alignment with local, regional, and national strategies
Champion health and social care integration and regional working, fostering collaboration across the North East
Provide senior leadership for communications, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement
Drive continuous service improvement and innovation, supporting managed clinical networks (e.g., cancer, respiratory, coronary heart disease)
Maximise organisational performance through effective resource deployment, performance management, and staff development

Required

A Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Strategy, Planning, Modernisation, or a relevant field, plus a professional qualification
Extensive experience in senior management roles at Board level, ideally within health and social care systems
Expertise in strategic improvement, change management, and major capital projects (£100m+)
Highly developed leadership, influencing, and communication skills
The ability to build credibility, motivate teams, and foster stakeholder relationships
