Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated downstream equipment, including robotics, conveyors, packaging, and palletizing systems
Analyze system performance data to identify improvement and optimization opportunities
Develop and maintain engineering documentation, standards, and maintenance procedures
Support PLC, HMI, and networked control system integration
Lead or support capital projects involving automation upgrades, retrofits, and layout changes
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure safety and quality compliance
Provide technical training and support to maintenance and production personnel
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field)
5+ years in automated or high-speed manufacturing environments
Experience with PLCs, robotics, motion systems, and industrial automation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with RCA focus
Preferred
Project management and vendor coordination experience
Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
