Responsibilities

Sales of Inertial systems such as MRU, MGC, Seapath and new developments
Represent Kongsberg Discovery at industry conferences and exhibitions
Meetings and follow-up with customers and integrators
Prepare quotations and engage in contract negotiations
Achieving forecasted sales targets for defined areas
International travel will be required

Qualification

Required

Technical education or proven technical knowledge in relevant fields. E.g. BSc in Surveying, Automation, Mechatronics, Cybernetics or similar
Ideally 3 to 5 years+ operational experience in relevant industry
Experience and proven success in solution-based sales and negotiations
Self-drive and a solution-oriented mindset
Awareness of relevant industries / competitors
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check
You are able to act on own initiative, make things happen and accepts responsibility for the results
You can identify commercial opportunities and you have a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability
You can make an impact, convince and persuade others and promote plans and ideas successfully
You can build a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilize it to achieve objectives
You can adhere to company rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination
You can communicate in a clear, precise and structured way
