Responsibilities

Leads day-to-day execution of personnel security processes, ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and serves as the primary liaison with government security offices

Coordinates and reviews background investigations, clearance actions, and continuous evaluation activities

Performs general personnel security case management, assembles personnel security case files, and recommends cases for final adjudication

Leads and oversees daily personnel security operations and staff workloads

Reviews and approves clearance actions, investigations, and related documentation

Manages end-to-end clearance lifecycle activities (initials, reinvestigations, upgrades, reciprocity, separations)

Ensures compliance with federal and DoD personnel security policies

Utilizes and enters data into government security systems

Tracks metrics and supports audits, inspections, and government reviews

Required

U.S. Citizenship

Four (4) years of personnel security experience

One (1) or more years of supervisory experience

Ability to successfully complete a DHS Public Trust background check

Preferred

Experience performing general personnel security case management, assembling personnel security case files, and recommending cases for final adjudication

Knowledge of federal personnel security regulations and processes

Experience with government clearance systems

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
