Responsibilities

Collaborate to understand key process workflows to define gaps and prioritize integration solutions
Build and test data automation tools. Work with customer IT stakeholders to qualify and deploy solutions
Leverage artificial intelligence to automate data transfers between digital tools
Produce user documentation and provide user training on developed solutions
Design, document, develop, integrate, and test software according to industry coding standards
Understand data concepts, data integration practices, APIs, containers, etc
Execute complex software tasks with minimal oversight or direction
Participate in requirements development, project estimation, software design/code reviews, algorithm architecture alignment reviews and software performance metrics
Troubleshoot and fix bugs
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures

Required

Good communications and analytical skills required
High work ethic and commitment
Experience with modern source control tools and practices
Experience configuring and using continuous build/integration facilities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
Must be a U.S citizen. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred

Knowledge of and experience with AI techniques to automate data processes
Knowledge of Data Science principles and techniques
Background/Experience in propulsion engineering capabilities and tools (e.g., PLM – Teamcenter, Systems Engineering – CAD, Cameo, NX)
Front-end development experience including React, Vue, or related frameworks
Experience with Containers and Virtualization technologies – configuring, deploying, and managing
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure cloud services
Establishing and using dependency management, source control, issue tracking, build, and test facilities in a closed or high security environment
Experience with Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis techniques and tools
Experience with Modbus, Discrete & Analog Signals
Experience developing industrial systems, including control and safety interlocks
Willingness to participate in integration and test of industrial systems, including cable, kitting, installation
Graduate Degree engineering in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
1-3 years of relevant work experience
