Responsibilities

Lead investigations into and identify root cause and corrective action for in-service events
Lead Red Top closure process for specific engine investigations
Lead internal activities to resolve operator or Field Service Representative (FS) technical inquiries
Define and implement containment programs and corrective actions necessary to maintain continued safe operation of the product
Initiate Service Bulletins or Manual release/updates to support operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Authorized Maintenance Centers (AMCs)
Support Technical Variance (TV) and Technical Query (TQ) requests from operators/customers
Proactively support improving engine and component reliability utilizing maintenance data from FAST (AMC and on-wing LRU removal data) and trend monitoring
Communicate the status of service issue investigations via technical briefings both internally and to OEM customers, operators, and airworthiness authorities

Required

Associate's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience, OR
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1+ years of experience, OR
Master's degree in engineering, OR
JD/PhD
To be considered for this position you must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred

Experience with field service or design engineering
1+ years of experience in lifecycle engineering
Experience interfacing with customers on technical program issues
Gas turbine engine installation, verification, and performance experience
