Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspection of purchased parts and materials using checklists, drawings, and standards
Obtain Documentation: Gather applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and inspection instructions
Ensure that the equipment is in reliable condition and calibrated if applicable
Control samples for conformity to drawings, specifications, and standards
Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions on the appropriate computer system
Identify product items as accepted or rejected
Conduct First Article Inspections
Inform supervision of any abnormal situations
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation
Attend and participate in quality-related training activities and department meetings as provided by management
Maintain or update skills necessary for proficient job performance
Perform other Quality Assurance oriented duties as assigned by supervisor
Personal Protective Equipment: Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Adherence to EHS Policies

Qualification

AS9100 complianceFAA CFR 21 CertificationProduct inspectionTechnical backgroundDetail orientedCommunication skills

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Detail oriented and good communication skills
Product inspection experience and/or technical background is preferred
