Inventory & Production Analyst

Responsibilities
The Inventory Analyst will use SAP to analyze inventories and assist the Warehouse Supervisor, Controller, Quality Team, Buyers, Planners, and Operations Management in coordinating the daily activities within the plant
Investigate physical inventory discrepancies, and resolve variances with root cause analysis through SAP 700 movement analysis Analyze, reconcile, & troubleshoot inventory discrepancies in SAP, including root-cause investigations, variances resolution, and 700-movement analysis
Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, & Warehouse teams to implement sustainable processes that reduce inventory & cost variances
Lead floor investigations for yield/route variances, own ISC management, and conduct regular reviews of again inventory and movement history
Own and train teams on Production Order processes, including daily confirmation/closure, COGI error resolution, and month-end order closeout
Manage SAP traceability for scrap-from creation through physical disposal-and lead root-cause analysis and transactions for overage-related scrap and NCMR's
Perform rework/blend-back bulk conversions & coordinate daily cycle counts with accurate SAP entries per established procedures
Provide warehouse support as needed, including bin optimization and ensuring accurate stock reporting across storage locations
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of inventory control and planning structures (MRP)
Problem solving ability and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Preferred
three years in inventory control
Associates or bachelor's degree in Materials Management; Supply Chain, or related field
Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
