Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, low-voltage systems, and fire alarm systems
Perform electrical load calculations independently and ensure system designs meet applicable codes and standards
Prepare and maintain detailed electrical designs and construction documents using Revit
Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and evaluate technical submittals during the Construction Administration (CA) phase
Assist Project Managers with design coordination, scheduling, and technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle
Manage and prioritize work across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
Participate in site visits and meetings as required, including domestic travel up to 25%
Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering design, including lighting, power, low-voltage systems, and fire alarm design
10–15 years of hands-on experience with Revit software
Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing RFIs and technical submittals during Construction Administration
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to perform electrical load calculations without supervision
Experience with Healthcare and/or Pharmaceutical project design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid U.S. driver's license with a clear driving record
Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without current or future sponsorship
