Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
Actively work with a network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients
Lead the development of project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer
Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license
Structural Engineer, (S.E.) licensed in Hawaii, or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis with a Masters degree in structural engineering highly desired
Minimum 5 years experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered
Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above
Experience working in a multi-discipline project teams
Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget
Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, Mathcad)
Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam)
