Benefits Analyst - (Investment Corporation) - Morris Plains NJ
Atlantic Health is seeking a proactive and experienced Benefits Analyst to establish and manage their comprehensive employee benefits program. This role involves designing, implementing, and administering competitive benefits packages while ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional support to employees.

Responsibilities
Oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans (401k)
Manage the day-to-day operations of the benefits plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support
Liaise with benefits providers and vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and resolve any issues that arise
Coordinate and manage the annual benefits enrollment process, including the development of communication materials and conducting informational sessions for employees
Analyze benefits data to identify trends, make recommendations for improvements, and ensure cost-effectiveness
Ensure all benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA
Prepare and present regular reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends to the HR Manager and senior leadership
Assist in the development and implementation of benefits policies and procedures
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about their benefit options and how to maximize their use
Break out invoices to bill cost centers each month
Create and upload 401k file
Manage various employee leaves, track, and communicate with cost centers
Enter new hires, update addresses, and rate changes
Track and respond to inquiries from the state
Qualification
Required
Proactive and experienced in benefits administration
Experience managing employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans (401k)
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits
Exceptional customer service skills for employee support
Experience in vendor management and issue resolution
Ability to coordinate and manage the annual benefits enrollment process
Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and make recommendations
Knowledge of compliance requirements including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA
Experience in preparing and presenting reports on benefits utilization and costs
Ability to develop and implement benefits policies and procedures
Experience in developing and delivering training programs for employees
Ability to manage employee leave programs and track inquiries
Experience in daily data management related to employee benefits
Preferred
Experience conducting market research and benchmarking for benefits packages
Experience managing 401(k) plans, including compliance testing and employee education
Ability to develop clear and concise benefits communications
Experience conducting employee education sessions on benefits programs
Knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations for audits
