They are seeking a Staff Tax Auditor to review sensitive cases related to civil employment tax matters, negotiate settlement agreements, and make recommendations for approval.

Responsibilities

Reviewing sensitive and complex cases for settlement of civil employment tax matters

Analyzing cases and making recommendations for approval

Negotiating settlement agreements with taxpayers, or their legal representatives, to be presented for approval to the Assistant Chief Council, EDD Director, Attorney General, Administrative Law Judge, and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board
