Responsibilities
Administers security tools and technologies, ensuring they operate effectively to protect organizational assets and data
Analyzes somewhat complex security incidents and vulnerabilities, developing strategies for remediation and risk mitigation
Applies knowledge of security best practices to enhance existing security protocols and frameworks within the organization
Communicates security policies and procedures to staff, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance
Conducts routine security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement
Documents security incidents and responses, maintaining accurate records to support compliance and reporting requirements
Coordinates somewhat complex security projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and adherence to standards
Designs somewhat complex security solutions to address identified vulnerabilities, enhancing the organization’s overall security posture
Examines security logs and alerts, debugging potential issues and escalating significant findings to senior analysts for further investigation
